Pets of the Homeless
Feeding Pets of the Homeless® believes in the healing power of companion pets and of the human/animal bond, which is very important in the lives of people experiencing homelessness. They find solace, protection, and companionship through their pets. They care for their pets with limited resources so they themselves have less. Our task, nationwide, is to feed and provide basic emergency veterinary care to their pets and thus relieve the anguish and anxiety of homeless guardians who cannot provide for them.
Pet it Forward Foundation
Pet It Forward Foundation gives assistance and resources to people who need help to keep their pets. Pet It Forward has a vision to see a world where no pet parent would have to give up their beloved pet because of a financial hardship.
Almost There
Almost There Rescue is a small nonprofit dog rescue in Phoenix, AZ specializing in pregnant and nursing mamas and litters of puppies. Our mission is to save mama dogs and pups, provide care and enrichment, and find loving, forever homes. Our puppies go through a specially designed "Puppy Preschool" curriculum to help with their socialization and overall development into well-adjusted furry family members. Our vision is an Arizona with more rescue advocates and no more homeless dogs.

Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles
Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles is a non-profit organization with the mission to help every Pug (and Pug mix) in need find a forever, loving home. Their passionate team of founding board members and volunteers live by their motto “one Pug at a time” and have rescued and rehomed over 2,000 Pugs and Pug-mixes since 2011. Any Pug that is unable to find a forever home is given a loving and caring place to live at the “Pug Nation Station” facility.
Wags & Walks Rescue
Founded in 2011, Wags & Walks Rescue is a community of dog lovers dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding rescue dogs through their unique temperament evaluation, education and adoption programs. Wags & Walks Rescue prides itself on realizing that like amazing dogs, loving families come in all shapes and sizes. Their goal is to find an adopter whose home, family and lifestyle are a perfect fit for a particular dog.
The Labelle Foundation
The Labelle Foundation is a foster based, non-profit dog rescue based in Los Angeles, California. Founded by a mother-daughter duo, this organization specializes in neonatal orphans, medical dogs and mothers and babies. They also emphasize the importance of team work and education on the importance of responsible dog ownership.
The Little Red Dog
Named to honor their founder’s first dog, is a non-profit dog rescue and sanctuary located in San Diego County. They utilize their network of foster volunteers, local shelters, and rescue groups to help provide the care and affection dogs need as they wait to find their forever homes; no matter what size or breed.
K9 For Warriors
Every day in the United States, approximately 20 Veterans take their own lives and more than 1,000 dogs are euthanized. Determined to end Veteran suicide, K9s For Warriors provides highly-trained Service Dogs, many of them rescues, to military Veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma, at no financial cost to the Veteran. Since 2011, K9s For Warriors has graduated more than 1,000 Warriors and rescued more than 2,000 dogs. With the majority of dogs being rescued, this innovative program allows the K9/Warrior team to build an unwavering bond that facilitates their collective healing and recovery.
